Terms and Conditions

Last updated 13 October 2026

These Terms are the contract for using the Alion website and platform. Alion is for businesses only.

01

Who we are and who these Terms are for

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") are a contract between you and Alion, a company incorporated in Saint Lucia, with its registered address in Castries, Saint Lucia. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Alion. "You" and "your" mean the business that uses our website at alion.app or our platform at app.alion.app.

Alion is for businesses only. Our Services are made for companies and professionals who use them for their business. They are not for consumers, which means people acting for personal or household purposes. By using the Services, you confirm that you use them for your business.

If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it to these Terms. In that case, "you" means that company or organisation.

By creating an account, using the free plan or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02

Definitions

Some words in these Terms have a specific meaning. When we use them with a capital letter, they mean the following.

Services
The Alion website, the Platform, and any related support, documentation and features we provide to you.
Platform
The Alion software and infrastructure for affiliate and performance marketing, available at app.alion.app.
Account
The account you create to use the Platform, together with its settings and workspaces.
Authorized Users
Your employees, contractors and other people you allow to access the Platform through your Account.
Customer Data
All data that you or your Authorized Users upload, send, connect or create in the Platform, including leads, campaign data and settings.
End Users
The people whose personal data is included in your leads, for example a person who fills in a form on one of your pages.
Landing Pages
Web pages that you create, host or publish using the Platform.

"Personal data" means any information about a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly. It has the meaning given to it by the data protection law that applies.

03

Your account

To use the Platform, you need an Account. When you create it, you agree to:

  • give us accurate and complete registration information, and keep it up to date;
  • keep your passwords and other login credentials secure and confidential;
  • make sure your Authorized Users follow these Terms. You are responsible for them and for all activity in your Account;
  • tell us right away if you believe someone has accessed your Account without permission, by writing to [email protected].

We may ask you to confirm your identity or your company details before we give you access or make changes to your Account.

04

Free plan

Every new Account can use the free plan, with the lead and user limits shown on our pricing page. You do not need to give us a payment card to use the free plan.

We may end or change your free plan access if you break these Terms. To go above the free plan's limits, you need a paid plan.

05

Plans, payment and renewal

Our plans and prices are shown on our pricing page, unless we agree different terms with you in writing. The plan you choose sets the monthly lead and user limits that apply to your Account.

  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
  • Taxes. Our fees do not include taxes. You pay any taxes that apply, such as sales tax or withholding tax.
  • Late or failed payment. If a payment is late or fails, we will tell you. If it is still not paid after that notice, we may suspend your access until it is paid.
  • Payment methods. Payment methods are shown at checkout or on your invoice.
  • Partner codes and promotions. Partner codes and promotional offers apply only as stated in the offer itself.

06

Refunds

We do not give refunds for partial billing periods. There are two exceptions: where the law requires a refund, and where we end the contract without cause (meaning without a reason based on your conduct). In that second case, we refund the fees you paid in advance for the unused part of your subscription.

07

Acceptable use

You must use the Services fairly and lawfully. You and your Authorized Users must not:

  • use the Services for anything illegal or fraudulent;
  • send spam or any marketing that breaks the law;
  • upload viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
  • try to break or bypass our security, or access other accounts or data that are not yours;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the Platform, except where the law allows it;
  • resell the Services or share access to them with others without our written consent;
  • scrape the Platform or collect data from it with bots or other automated tools;
  • use Landing Pages to host deceptive, infringing or illegal content, or to impersonate any person or company.

If you break these rules, we may take the steps described in the sections on content reports and on suspension and termination.

08

Your responsibilities for your business and your data

You run your own business. You alone are responsible for:

  • making sure your offers, campaigns, advertising, Landing Pages and lead activity are legal in every country where you operate;
  • having a lawful basis, giving the right notices and getting consent where needed for every lead and End User whose data you send through the Services. A lawful basis is a reason the law accepts for using personal data;
  • holding any licences or permits your business needs;
  • following all laws that apply to you, including marketing, financial promotion, consumer protection and data protection laws.

09

What Alion is and is not

Alion provides software and technical infrastructure only. We give you tools for affiliate and performance marketing. How you use them, and the business decisions you make, are yours.
  • Alion is not a party to any deal between you and your partners, affiliates, brokers or advertisers.
  • Alion does not offer, promote or arrange financial, investment or gambling products.
  • Alion is not a payment service.
  • Alion does not give legal, financial or compliance advice.

Fraud detection results, and statuses synced from third party systems, are tools to help you make decisions. They may not always be complete or correct. You make the final decisions about your leads, partners and payments.

10

Customer Data

You own your Customer Data. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide, secure and support the Services, and to comply with the law.

When Customer Data includes personal data, we process it under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. In that agreement, you are the controller (the party that decides why and how the data is used) and we are the processor (the party that handles it on your instructions).

Each Account's data stays isolated to that Account. Other customers cannot see your Customer Data.

11

Content rules and how we handle reports

You must not publish or store the following on Landing Pages or anywhere in the Platform:

  • illegal content;
  • fraud, scams or content designed to mislead people;
  • material that infringes the copyright, trademarks or other rights of others;
  • malware or links to malware;
  • content that impersonates another person, company or brand.

Anyone can report content they believe breaks these rules on our Report Abuse page. We review reports in a timely, careful and objective way.

After a review, we may remove content or suspend an Account. If we do, we tell the affected customer why, and give them a way to respond. We do not monitor all content in advance, but we act when we learn about a problem.

12

Suspension and termination

Ending the contract with notice. Either of us may end this contract by giving the other 30 days' notice. You can do this by cancelling your subscription or by writing to [email protected].

Immediate suspension or termination. We may suspend or end your access right away if:

  • you seriously break these Terms;
  • you do not pay after we have given you notice;
  • you use the Services for illegal activity;
  • we need to do so to comply with the law or an order from an authority.

Your data after termination. After the contract ends, you can export your Customer Data during a 30 day window. After that window, we delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it.

13

Intellectual property and feedback

We own the Platform, the Services, our software, and the Alion name and brand. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of them to you.

While your Account is on an active plan, including the free plan, we give you a limited, non exclusive and non transferable licence (a permission) to use the Services for your internal business purposes, in line with these Terms.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve the Services, without any obligation to you.

14

Availability and changes to the Services

We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted or error free.

We may update, add or change features over time. If we make a material change that reduces the core functionality of the Services, we will give you notice in advance.

15

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, we provide the Services "as is" and "as available". This means we do not make promises about the Services beyond those written in these Terms, for example that they will fit a particular purpose or produce a particular result.

16

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, meaning loss that does not follow directly and naturally from the event;
  • we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data;
  • our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the fees you paid us in the 6 months before the event that caused the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

17

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us, which means you will cover our losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from claims related to:

  • your Customer Data;
  • your campaigns, offers, advertising and Landing Pages;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your breach of any law.

18

Confidentiality

Each of us may receive non public information from the other, such as business plans, technical details, prices agreed in writing or Customer Data. We both agree to protect that information, to use it only for the purposes of this contract, and not to share it with others except where needed to perform this contract or where the law requires it.

19

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia. The courts of Saint Lucia have jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the Services.

Before going to court, we both agree to first try to settle any dispute in good faith by email. Please write to [email protected] to start that process.

20

General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Data Processing Agreement and any order or plan terms agreed in writing, are the whole agreement between us about the Services.
  • Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give up that right.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer this contract to anyone else without our written consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
  • Independent parties. We are independent businesses. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment or agency relationship.
  • Notices. We send notices by email to the address in your Account. You send notices to us at [email protected].
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, wars, power or internet outages, or actions by authorities.

21

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will tell you by email or in the Platform at least 30 days before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms last changed.

If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can end the contract before then.
