Lead Audit Prompts: Find Duplicate Leads and FTD Gaps
Four copy-paste AI prompts that find duplicate leads, missing statuses, leads worth resending and FTD gaps in your lead export.
GPT-6.1 Terra came out on 26 October at half the price of GPT-6.1 Sol. That makes it cheap to run over a whole month of lead data. So we wrote four prompts that do it. You upload your lead export, paste a prompt, and get back a list with lead IDs you can act on.
What the four prompts find
Duplicates. The same person sent twice, often to two different partners, with the phone or email written slightly differently. Leads with no status. Leads sent over five days ago that are still "New" or empty, plus a message to send each partner. Leads worth resending. Dead leads that a different partner could still convert, split by country and source. FTD mismatch. Your FTD count against the partner's report, lead by lead, including amounts.
They work in GPT-6.1 Terra or any other model that reads files. The pack includes a sample lead file with an answer key, so you can test the AI before you trust it with real data.
Prompt 1: find duplicates
Upload your lead export (CSV), then paste this:
I'm attaching a lead export (CSV). Each row is one lead we sent to a partner. Find duplicate leads. Rules: - Two rows are the same lead if they share an email or a phone number. - Before comparing, clean the emails (trim spaces, make lowercase) and the phones (keep digits only, and treat a leading 00 the same as +). - The earliest row by created date is the original. Every later match is a duplicate. - If you can run code, use it. Do not estimate. - If a column I mention is missing or named differently, tell me which column you used instead. Give me: 1. The number of duplicates. 2. A table with: duplicate lead ID, original lead ID, what matched (email or phone), the partner of each, and the status of each. 3. Every case where the same person went to two different partners. 4. A cleaned CSV with the duplicates removed, if you can create files.
The cleaning step matters most. "+44 7700 900123" and "00447700900123" are the same number, and a plain spreadsheet filter won't catch that.
